Get ready! Honda's electric scooter is coming to India, know when it will be launched
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is preparing to launch its first electric scooter in the Indian market. According to media reports, the company is working on this upcoming electric scooter with its dealer-partner. It is believed that this electric scooter can be introduced in the market by the next financial year. HMSI President, MD and CEO Atsushi Ogata said in a statement to the media that, the company has decided to enter the electric vehicle market after detailed discussions with parent Honda Motor Company, Japan. However, the basic model of this electric scooter is yet to be finalised. The company believes that the Indian market is very suitable for electric vehicles, because the government's electric vehicle policy is encouraging people here.
